Who?
Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School, in Blackburn, Lancashire, UK, is one of the leading co-educational independent day schools in the North West.
The school offers a first-class academic and extra-curricular education and excellent pastoral care to boys and girls aged 3 months to 18 years old.
Why?
Mr Sheard took the position of Estates Manager at Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar Independent School and contacted Vectair as the school had no water control measures fitted.
All 9 of the toilets were flushing a 10 litre cistern every 10 to 15 minutes.
The water was still flowing through the urinals even when the washrooms were not being used – after school, at the weekends and also non-term times which was an unnecessary waste of school funds as well as a huge cost to the environment and water wastage.
What?
